Mountain Dynamics SledGPS is a series of complete snowmobile trail maps for your Garmin GPS.  No more messing around with torn paper maps in high winds or trying to spot a landmark in a white-out—just pull out your GPS and see exactly where you are and which way to go to get to your destination. It takes less than 30 seconds to put these maps onto your Garmin nüvi, eTrex, Oregon, or other GPS, using the pre-programmed memory cards. There are three regional sets, and the complete North America title, available on either memory cards or CD-ROM.

Everyone knows where the roads are and many people use topographic maps to see elevation information. But what about the trails? Trail intersections? Mountain Dynamics partner, US TrailMaps, has mapped over 100,000 miles of snowmobile trails, together with nearly 250,000 businesses related to the trails like gas stations and lodging along your routes. With the SledGPS maps on your Garmin device , you can find that perfect lounge or restaurant when the day is over and it's time to relax (Note: businesses are not included for Canadian provinces).

Mountain Dymaics SledGPS Works with the Most Advanced Garmin GPS Solutions:
As well as more traditional GPS units like the eTrex and Oregon, Mountain Dymanics SledGPS is also fully compatible with Garmin's hit series of nüvi Personal Navigation Devices (PNDs), which display the maps with great detail and clarity on their large touchscreens. You can listen to MP3s off the nüvi while you ride, and even take calls without having to take your phone out of your pocket on the Bluetooth-enabled models.

Mountain Dymanics SledGPS even works on Garmin's Rino series of handhelds, which combine a GPS with a "walkie-talkie" radio. These units transmit their positions to each other so you can see where other members of your family or group are right on your GPS screen.
Plan Your Adventures on Your PC, Before Heading Out with SledGPS and MapSource:
Routes can also be created on your PC, if you choose the CD-ROM version of SledGPS, with the included Garmin MapSource software. These routes can be reviewed on the PC, including looking at their elevation profiles and then downloaded to your GPS.
When Mountain Dynamics SledGPS is purchased on CD-ROM, the maps are locked until you enter an unlock code that corresponds to the "Unit ID" of your GPS. Your Unlock Code can be obtained right after you purchase the SledGPS product, or when you install and run the Garmin MapSource software that the CD contains, and can be managed at your My Page portion of the Mountain Dynamics website. All of the Mountain Dynamics CD-ROM titles come with two unlock codes so that you can use your maps with up to two personal Garmin GPSes.
The Mountain Dynamics Sled GPS CD actually contains the locked maps for all 27 states that SledGPS covers, and if you initially buy one region, for example Great Lakes, then you can purchase an additional unlock code online and get immediate access to another, for example Upper Midwest. The SledGPS maps integrate with any other MapSource maps that you might own, such as Garmin's Topo and City Navigator, so that you can create combinations to download to your device.

SledGPS Garmin Compatibility:
The Mountain Dynamics SledGPS Garmin-format maps on memory cards are compatible with nearly all Garmin GPS receivers that have an SD or microSD memory card slot, including: nüvi (all models), Colorado (all models), Oregon (all models), Dakota 20, GPSmap 60Cx/60CSx, GPSmap 76Cx/76CSx, eTrex Vista Cx/HCx, eTrex Legend Cx/HCx, eTrex Venture Cx, Rino 520HCx/530HCx, Edge 605/705, and zūmo (all models).
In addition, SledGPS maps are also available on CD-ROM with Garmin's MapSource PC software. As well as the above list, the CD version is also compatible with mapping models that do not have a memory card slot and have at least 24MB of internal memory, including: Dakota 10, GPSmap 60C/60CS, GPSmap 76C/76CS, eTrex Vista, Vista C, Legend C/H, Venture HC, and Rino 130/520/530 (SledGPS's California data with streets requires 32MB and will not fit on some of these models).
SledGPS maps can be used under Garmin Mobile XT software, on a wide variety of Windows Mobile, Palm, and Symbian-based smartphones.
